Tryout Process

2020 Ridgewood Crew Tryout Process - High School Rowers

The Tryouts for the Ridgewood Crew 2022 spring team will be on Saturday, January 8 and Sunday, January 9, 2022. Rower will attend only one tryout session. The Ridgewood Crew spring high school team will be announced after the tryout session during the week of January 10. To sign up for a tryout session please use this form: Tryout Sign-Up Form.

The following items are required to be submitted before or at the tryout session. 
• Registration Form 
• Acceptance Form for the 2020 RC Expectations, Rules, and Code of Conduct for Students and Parents
• Physician Clearance Form. All rowers will need to have this form signed by their physician indicating they may row with Ridgewood Crew for the 2020 spring season. Note – if your rower had a physical at any time in 2019, your physician can sign the form. 
• The first ($900) (or full $2700) fee installment.

​Note all documents and first fee payment must be received by the tryout day. No late registration, forms, or fees will be accepted. 
The Ridgewood Crew Team practices begin on Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at the RHS Cafeteria. Exact time will be announced in early January; tentatively set for 4:30-6:30pm or 5:30-7:30pm Monday – Friday and early afternoon on Saturday.

March 29 3rd Manny Flick Cooper River, Camden, NJ
April 5 4th Manny Flick Schuylkill River, Philadelphia, PA
April 19 5th Manny Flick Schuylkill River, Philadelphia, PA
April 25 Garden State Regatta Cooper River, Camden, NJ
May 2 & 3 City Championship Schuylkill River, Philadelphia, PA
May 10 Mid-Atlantics Mercer Lake, Princeton, NJ (select rowers, tentative)
May 15 & 16 Stotesbury Regatta Schuylkill River, Philadelphia, PA
May 22 & 23 SRAA Nationals Cooper River, Camden, NJ (qualifying boats)
June 11-14 US Youth Nationals Sarasota, FL (qualifying boats, tentative)
